Sunshine Hotel & Residences - Pattaya

I loved the sea view room, but it got noisy at night.

booked a room with magnificent views of the beach. and it was beautifully maintained and had a comfortable bed. the breakfast was generous and varied, the check in was early.

I thought that the rooms were very clean and the cleaning staff tolerated my late occasional sleep in, even though we had difficulty understanding each other.

It was sometimes difficult to explain to the cleaning staff what I needed (eg, extra sugar).

The breakfast buffet was amazing, with a large spread with a fantastic mix of Western and Thai dishes. The staff were friendly, always greeting me with a smile and providing assistance whenever needed.

Some noise from nightlife.

There was honestly not much to like during my short stay.

This hotel is under renovation. Existing pool is extremely tiny. Reserved and paid for an ocean view room, but did not receive one at check in. Was moved to a different room, and it was only slightly better. Hotel staff was indifferent. Elevator issues, and I was on the 10th floor. I changed hotels after only 2 days of a 6 day reservation. Avoid.

Staff very friendly, worth paying the extra for a sea view room. Location is ideal if you want to be in the thick of the action in pattaya.

I had a lovely stay here. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety, especially enjoyed the Indian dishes. The cleanliness was impressive, but the air conditioning in my room could have been more efficient.

A huge variety of meals for breakfast, it was plentiful and delicious. View of the sea was excellent, the room was new-fashioned and cheap.

Well, it was a comfortable stay on my 3rd visit.

Ope, just gotta say the staff was super friendly and the breakfast spread was a real delight-especially those Thai dishes! The cleaning crew was great, keeping the room nice and comfy, but the AC didn't quite keep up like I hoped. Ah, well, it is what it is!

The atomshere is the best , there is nothing not to like when staying at Sunshine this is my 4th time and I plan many more.

My overall experience was disappointing due to noisy guests disrupting my sleep each night. The location meant I was constantly woken up. I struggled with a malfunctioning room safe that required a crowbar for access.

The breakfast was terrible! The food was always cold no matter what time of the morning and the coffee stewed and stale. Choice of foods is very limited for western pallets. After two days I chose to eat elsewhere in the mornings

I stayed on the top floor away from the evening noise. I like the view from the window and balcony in the afternoon.

Due to the surrounding neighborhood, I think this hotel is not suitable for families.
